Cheryl’s therapeutic style incorporates a holistic approach, focusing on the whole person, including but not limited to: emotions, life style, health, sleep, diet, as well as empowering the client and building upon strengths. Cheryl’s style is one of true compassion and interest in her clients’ thoughts and feelings. She believes in the importance of helping clients understand their problems and symptoms and offers concrete solutions and focused techniques to help them get to a better place. Additionally, Cheryl’s therapeutic approach incorporates: cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness based therapy, DBT, play therapy, psychoeducation, and trauma treatment.

Cheryl has been in the behavioral health field since 2002. Prior to joining our team, Cheryl was a Supervisor at an Outreach Mental Health Facility in Massachusetts. Cheryl holds a master’s degree in Social Work and a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. She holds a certificate in the Treatment of Trauma. Cheryl is a Clinical Member of the National Association of Social Workers and Academy of Certified Social Workers.
